3. Data collection on our website

Cookies

Some of the Internet pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions that you have requested (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website - for this purpose, the server log files must be collected.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you have provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

4. Analysis tools and advertising

Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. Order processing

We have concluded an order processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics with Google Analytics
This website uses the "demographic characteristics" function of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising from Google as well as visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can deactivate this function at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as shown in the item "Objection to data collection".

5. Plugins and tools

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts.

When you call up a page, your browser normally loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google's servers. This would inform Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Further information on Google Web Fonts can be found athttps://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy:https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps

This site uses the mapping service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.
Google Maps is used in the interest of an attractive presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the places we indicate on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy:https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

6. Newsletter

Newsletter data

If you would like to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require an e-mail address from you as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. No further data is collected or only on a voluntary basis. We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.

The processing of the data entered in the newsletter registration form is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, for example via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you provide for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and will be deleted after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data that has been stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

7. our social media appearances

Data processing through social networks

We maintain publicly accessible profiles on social networks. The social networks used by us in detail can be found below.

Social networks such as Facebook, Google+ etc. can generally comprehensively analyse your user behaviour when you visit their website or a website with integrated social media content (e.g. like buttons or advertising banners). By visiting our social media presences, numerous data protection-relevant processing operations are triggered. In detail:

If you are logged into your social media account and visit our social media presence, the operator of the social media portal can assign this visit to your user account. However, your personal data may also be collected under certain circumstances if you are not logged in or do not have an account with the respective social media portal. In this case, this data collection takes place, for example, via cookies that are stored on your end device or by recording your IP address.

With the help of the data collected in this way, the operators of the social media portals can create user profiles in which your preferences and interests are stored. In this way, interest-based advertising can be displayed to you inside and outside the respective social media presence. Provided you have an account with the respective social network, the interest-based advertising may be displayed on all devices on which you are or were logged in.

Please also note that we are not able to track all processing procedures on the social media portals. Depending on the provider, further processing procedures may therefore be carried out by the operators of the social media portals. For details, please refer to the terms of use and data protection provisions of the respective social media portals.

Legal basis

Our social media presences are intended to ensure the most comprehensive possible presence on the Internet. This is a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. The analysis processes initiated by the social networks may be based on different legal grounds, which are to be stated by the operators of the social networks (e.g. consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO).

Person responsible and assertion of rights

If you visit one of our social media sites (e.g. Facebook), we are jointly responsible with the operator of the social media platform for the data processing operations triggered during this visit. In principle, you can assert your rights (information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and complaint) both vis-à-vis us and vis-à-vis the operator of the respective social media portal (e.g. vis-à-vis Facebook).

Please note that despite the joint responsibility with the social media portal operators, we do not have full influence on the data processing procedures of the social media portals. Our options are largely determined by the corporate policy of the respective provider.

Storage period

The data collected directly by us via the social media presence will be deleted from our systems as soon as the purpose for storing it no longer applies, you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

We have no influence on the storage period of your data, which is stored by the operators of the social networks for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the social networks directly (e.g. in their privacy policy, see below).

We have a profile on Pinterest. The operator is Pinterest Inc, 808 Brannan Street San Francisco, CA 94103-490, USA ("Pinterest"). For details on how they handle your personal data, please refer to Pinterest's privacy policy:https://policy.pinterest.com/de/privacy-policy.

7b. Facebook page

Naturgarten Kaiserstuhl GmbH uses the technical platform and services of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland for the information service offered on the Facebook page.

We would like to point out that you use the Facebook page and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). Alternatively, you can also access the information offered via the Facebook page on our website at www.naturgarten-kaiserstuhl.de.

When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook collects, among other things, your IP address and other information that is stored on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us, as operators of the Facebook pages, with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page.
Facebook provides more detailed information on this at the following link:
http://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights.

The data collected about you in this context is processed by Facebook Ltd. and may be transferred to countries outside the European Union. Facebook describes in general terms what information it receives and how it is used in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact Facebook and on the setting options for advertisements.
The data usage guidelines are available at the following link:
http://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy

Facebook's full data policies can be found here:
https://de-de.facebook.com/full_data_use_policy

In what way Facebook uses data from visits to Facebook pages for its own purposes, to what extent activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly stated by Facebook and is not known to us.
When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your terminal device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is anonymised (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about the end devices of its users (e.g. as part of the 'registration notification' function); this may enable Facebook to assign IP addresses to individual users.
If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, a cookie with your Facebook ID is stored on your end device. This enables Facebook to track that you have visited this page and how you have used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons embedded in websites enable Facebook to record your visits to these website pages and assign them to your Facebook profile. This data can be used to offer content or advertising tailored to you.
If you want to avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or deactivate the "stay logged in" function, delete the cookies present on your device and close and restart your browser. This will delete Facebook information that can directly identify you. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook identifier. When you access interactive features of the page (Like, Comment, Share, Message, etc.), a Facebook login screen will appear. Once you have logged in, you will again be recognisable to Facebook as a specific user.
Information on how to manage or delete information about you can be found on the following Facebook support pages:
https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy#

Each time a user accesses a page from the tportal's website offering, data about this process is temporarily stored and processed in a log file (Art.6 para.1 f DSGVO). These are:

  • Category or type, name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • date and time of the retrieval,
  • amount of data transferred,
  • message as to whether the retrieval was successful,
  • the access method/function requested by the requesting computer,
  • a description of the type of web browser used with further information on the system,
  • IP address,
  • website from which the access was made.

The temporary storage of this so-called server log data is necessary to provide the service for technical reasons and thereafter to ensure system security. The data is anonymised after seven days at the latest by shortening the IP address, if and insofar as no conspicuous features indicate possible system errors, attempts at unauthorised access or other hacker attacks and longer storage is necessary for further clarification, technical elimination of the problems and/or, if applicable, legal prosecution. The other evaluation of this data is carried out anonymously for statistical purposes.

9. changes to the data protection declaration
